A thread of truth

Unless you lived it, it is very likely you will never know the full story and even then it is likely skewed and biased.

A story shared by one who did not experience the tale is even less likely to retain the truth.

Is it any wonder why we are advised to believe half of what we hear?

Even eyewitnesses often share varied perspectives on the same event.

Be careful what you believe. What we hear about each other likely has a thin thread of truth to it. The challenge is knowing which strand is true.

I say we just tighten our lips, ratchet down our ears and choose to accept each other despite what might be said or implied.

Heaven knows there is enough ugly in all of us to warrant a refund.

May I see a receipt please? I didn’t think so!
