Don’t be stupid

Standing at the checkout stand at the local grocery store a fellow shopper and I begin to talk about the new Abraham Lincoln movie.

He indicated he had just had a similar discussion with another shopper who informed him that he had finally figured out how to pronounce Afro-American, you say, “Niger.”

My new friend was taken back and so was I. I thought to myself, I have finally figured out how to pronounce racist. Can you say, “Stupid!”

I hope you are as offended as I was with this true story. We have come a long way America but we still have a long way to go.

Do your part today to love like Jesus. Red, yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight!
