Worth the read?

Why read the Bible?

The Bible is not merely a collection of religious rituals and commendable ideas. The Bible shows us how to know God personally. It also provides desired and practical instructions on how to deal with problems that arise in daily living.

Understanding God’s Word is an essential ingredient of wisdom, which is the ability to apply God’s truth to life’s complexities.

Having wisdom does not mean that you understand all of God’s ways; it means that you respond to life God’s way.

The better you know the Bible, the wiser you will be.

RAY’S PERSONAL TIP:

Spend the next 31 days reading a chapter of Proverbs. Then spend the next 6 days reading a chapter of James. Then jump into Psalms and then the Gospels! Next thing you know you will have read the entire Bible! How many people can say they have done that? Why not you? Why not ask a friend to join you in the journey?
